Reduced Turnover Tax Rate: The turnover tax rate for businesses in the high-tech sector will decrease from 5% to 1%, making Armenia one of the most tax-friendly environments for these companies in the region.

This primarily affects individual entrepreneurs providing professional services and operating as SMEs.
Key Considerations:
Eligibility: Businesses must meet specific criteria to be recognized as high-tech sector entities and benefit from the incentives.
Impact on SMEs: The turnover tax system reform has raised concerns among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) due to the increased tax burden and complexity of the general taxation system.
