June 2014According to a release by Statistics Estonia dated 12.6.2014 the average Estonian monthly salary in 2013 was EUR 900 higher than the 2012 average.
In Harju and Tartu counties the average monthly salary was even higher while the average in Valga county the average was lower, EUR 746.

July 2012According to Statistica Estonia the Estonian consumer price index, CPI, increased in June 2012 by 0.1% compared to May 2012 and by 3.9% compared to June 2011.
Compared to June 2011 goods were more expensive by 3.2% while services were more expensive by 5.2%.
Estonia joined the Euro Zone
January 2011Estonia joined on January 1, 2011 the Euro zone as its seventeenth member.
Estonia is the first former Soviet union state to join the Euro zone.
The new conversion rate for the former Kroon currency is 15.65 Kroons equal 1 EUR.
