The Lithuanian currency
Starting January 1, 2015 the Euro is the currency in use replacing the Litas (LT).The LT was divided into a 100 Centas.
Notes and coins of the following denominations were in circulation/
Coins
- Coins were available in denominations LT 1, 2, 5 and in denominations of between Centas 1 - 50.
Notes
- Notes were available in denominations of LT 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200. There is a permanent rate of exchange of LT 3.4528 to Euro 1.
