Serbia economic forecast for 2023
January 2023GDP in Serbia is expected to reach 65.15 USD Billion by the end of 2023.
In the long-term, the Serbia GDP is projected to trend around 67.37 USD Billion in 2024 and 70.26 USD Billion in 2025.
Serbia Consumer Price Index
September 2012According to a release by the Serbian statistics office the consumer price index, CPI, increased in July 2012 by 0.1% compared to June 2012.
Compared to July 2011 the CPI increased by 6.1% .When compared to December 2011 the increase was 5.4%.
Serbia Increased Interest Rate to 12%
January 2011The central bank of Serbia, NBS, raised on January 17 the benchmark interest rate by 0.5 per cent to 12% ,Europe's highest interest rate.
The rise which follows previous six rises in six months is aimed to cool rising inflation with a 22 months high inflation of 10.3% in December, well above the original forecast of 3%-6% rate.
