Isle of Man Argentina Tax Treaty
June 2013The tax information exchange agreement which was signed by the two countries in December 2012 entered into force on May 4, 2013.
The agreement was ratified by Argentina in January 2013 and by the Isle of Man in February 2013.
Isle of Man New Immigration System
December 2009The immigration office introduced on December 1, 2009 the new first step of the points based system for immigration.
The system applies to foreign nationals from outside the European Economic Area seeking employment in the Isle of Man.
The new system is based on the U.K. system. Other phases of the new point system will replace the existing employment controls.
Isle of Man Malta Double Tax Treaty
October 2009The Isle Of Man and Malta signed on October 23, 2009 a new double taxation agreement.The DTA is the 18th agreement signed by the Isle Of Man in line with the OECD international tax standards on trasparency and effective exchange of information.
The Isle Of Man has now DTAs with three EU member states, in addition to the U.K.
