South Africa Inflation 2011

Statistics South Africa released on January 18, 2012 data about the South African consumer price index.
The annual inflation in December 2011 was 6.1%, the same annual rate as in November 2011.
The prices increased by 0.2% in December 2011 compared to November 2011.
The official inflation rate for the year 2011 was 5% compared to 4.3% inflation for the year 2010.
